Clippings and articles on St. Joseph Church with miscellaneous articles on the bell tower and Mary Garden; photographs; postcards; and other materials. Includes typewritten mss., clippings, and pamphlets, relating to the bell tower; and clippings, pamphlets, flower lists, mss., photos, and other materials concerning Mary Garden. Includes Mrs. Lillie's personal scrapbook (ca. 1930-1933) documenting the conception and development of both the bell tower and garden with original photographs and hand-drawn plans for the flower borders; two tape recordings (one a duplicate); and 50 slides for a show on Mary's flowers. There are multiple copies of publications and talks (ca. 1960) by John S. Stokes, Jr.; and handwritten instructions for ringing the Angelus tower bells at noon. Other clippings pertain to the church itself and its closing. There is little material on the church and its building.
